Chef Lina

Lina Georges, a Lebanese native, shares her love through cooking, bringing traditional recipes to Los Angeles through her company, Mama Lina Cooks, co-founded with her son Fouad. Raised in a culture where food is synonymous with love and community, Lina honed her skills cooking alongside her mother and mother-in-law. Fouad reminisces about their family gatherings and the significance of dishes like Ma’amoul, where each design represents a different filling. Despite the challenges of displacement, Lina finds solace in recreating a sense of community through her cooking, making everyone feel like family with each dish she serves.
